Kelly A. Dirken

I began my career in project planning but learned early on that I liked working directly with clients and helping them achieve their goals. This led to shifting my focus to sales where I was in the best position to help affect the outcome of projects I was involved with.

I’m a strong advocate for the consultive sales approach and have successfully used this strategy throughout my career adding new customers and helping them get their product successfully into the marketplace. I believe sales is more than prospecting and landing accounts. Sales is about effective customer service; maintaining a constant support to assist clients on a continuing basis.

I have expertise in prospecting, account management, sales training, sales reporting, and budgeting. I have been involved in launching new technologies including the successful introduction of CRM software into our sales environment.

For the past 10 years I was VP, Sales & Marketing for a mid-size manufacturing company in the GTA. I’m comfortable dealing with senior executives and look forward to assisting you in sales and marketing related challenges you may be facing.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University).

I live with my family in Whitby, Ontario where you can often find me tending to my honeybees or struggling to become a better rhythm guitar player.
