About
Trudy Hunter
Simply put, I’m creative yet structured. I love design and creative outlets but equally love organization, systems, and efficiency.
I began training in Business Communications/Data Processing and then transferred into Graphic Design. After graduating, my career began in Graphics / Print Production and transitioned into Operations Management.
Perfect blend of creativity and structure!
My creative side is still with me – I have a fully operational pottery studio – but I have a real passion for analyzing workflow and documentation practices with an aim to gain efficiencies.
With a demonstrated history in Operations Management, the following list highlights a few key areas of my work experience:
- Vice president responsible for: Production Scheduling, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Estimating, Purchasing, Systems/IT and Digital.
- Developed a management system to achieve ISO Certification; processes included Quality Manual, Control of Documents & Records, Management Responsibilities, Human Resources, Infrastructure, Customer Service, Purchasing, Receiving, Manufacturing Production Departments, Control of Monitoring & Measuring, Internal Audits, Control of Nonconforming Product, Corrective / Preventive Action.
- Created all process, procedural and work instruction documentation for management and production related information with an internal tracking system.
- Established reporting documentation to monitor sales and production volumes through merging LOGIC data collection system along with Salesforce information.
- Management team member for Union Contract negotiations with involvement regarding classifications, rate schedules, manning and crew rotations, vacation entitlement, promotional hours, training, and certifications.
